'Kiyara's Toronto Adventure' is a tribute to Toronto, celebrating the city's vast history, diverse culture, and the spirit of exploration. While bringing the story to life, it was also important to me to contribute to the representation of visual minorities in children's literature, as I didn't have the privilege of encountering characters who looked like me growing up.
